The Full Story

I got my start in music in church. My mother played piano while my grandmother played organ and grandfather lead the singing. I learned guitar while listening to the songs of the 60's on his AM radio. Playing in high school musicals as well as school band and orchestra gave me a great musical foundation. Then on to study music at the University of Southern California. I have played and love everything from Classic Rock to Jazz and one of my favorites, Country music.

Music Career Development

I played 70’s rock at local clubs in L.A. and Orange County. Joined the Disco Movement and then with the help of a long time friend discovered Country Music.
“I had not been exposed to much Country music but fell in love with traditional country. At the time Alabama ruled the charts so we played lots of their hits, but Merle Haggard, George Jones, Marty Robbins were among my favorites to perform. We had a lot of fun, opening for George Strait and David Frizell (Frazell and West), participated in the Marlboro Country Music Contests.”

Church Music

Currently I am playing various Wineries in California's beautiful Temecula Valley.

I began a new career as Music Director/Worship Leader/ Technical Director at a Lutheran Church in Anaheim. During that time I produced Musicals for Christmas and Easter, lead worship services and taught the school's beginning and advanced bands as well as private lessons on Drums, Guitar, Bass and Saxophone.
